Handa Island |

Offshore island, reknowned for its sea cliffs
teeming with nearly 200,000 breeding sea birds. Visit between
April and September to see the sea birds, also wild flowers
during the summer months. Access is by small boat from Tarbet

Tidal basin with mudflats, heath, dunes and
pine woodland. Visit all year round for seald, waders and
ducks. Summer also sees wild flowers, terns, waders, fishing

fowl, hen harriers and peregrines. |

Loch Garten and Osprey Centre |

Nature Reserve is the Osprey Centre, which overlooks the osprey
nest by Loch Garten. Facilities include the visitor centre,
toilets, guided walks plus the famous "nest camera".
